After six weeks of underdogs crashing the party, Week 7 finally gave the favorites a clean sweep.
Five matchups. Five favorites. Five wins.
No 22% miracle.
No 40% ambush.
No projected favorite getting mugged in broad daylight.
For once, the numbers got to walk around with their chest out.
That does not mean the week was boring.
King iRok — the same team that entered Week 7 at 1–5 despite sitting near the top of the league in scoring — detonated for 178.16 points, the second-highest score of the season, and beat Estevan059 by 80.84.
That is now the largest margin we've seen all year.

Apparently the fantasy gods saw 191.26 versus 176.34 last week and decided we had enjoyed ourselves enough.
Week 5 averaged **134.14 points per team**.
Week 6?
**108.97.**
That's a drop of more than **25 points per team** in seven days.
The league went from 1,341.38 total points to **1,089.74**.
Nobody reached 150.
Three teams failed to reach 90.
Goonies Never Say Punt finished at **76.00**.
And somehow, despite all of that offensive carnage, Week 6 gave us some of the best owner-decision stories of the season.
Because this week, lineup management mattered.
A lot.

We have officially reached the part of the fantasy season where the standings make less sense the longer you stare at them.
Week 5 gave us the highest-scoring team performance of the season.
It also gave us the second-highest-scoring team performance of the season.
They played each other.
Of course they did.

Miami is 0-5 after five straight losses — to Las Vegas (27-13), San Francisco (35-13), Kansas City (24-10), Minnesota (15-10), and Cincinnati (31-24) — heading into their Week 6 bye winless. Miami finished 7-10 last season, going 6-11 ATS and 10-7 to the Over, scoring 20.4 points per game (25th) while allowing 24.9 (24th). Warren Sharp's preseason forecast of 4.5 wins and fourth-place finish in the AFC East came with the second-hardest schedule (31st), with the market installing Miami as underdogs in 16 of 17 games at a 6.9-point average line—5.6 at home and 8.0 on the road.

The New York Jets are 1-3 after a convincing 23-10 win over Tennessee, a blown 10-point fourth-quarter lead against Green Bay, a near-comeback in Detroit, and a 23-12 loss in Chicago in which the Bears controlled the ball for nearly 43 minutes. Last season they went 3-14, scoring 17.6 points per game (29th) and allowing 29.6 (31st). They covered 1-15-1 against the spread and went 11-6 to the over. Warren Sharp's preseason forecast is 5.5 wins and third place in the AFC East. His betting snapshot installed them as underdogs in 13 of 17 games and favorites in four, with a 4.9-point average line that splits 2.9 at home and 6.6 on the road.

New England is 2-2 after a 14-3 Super Bowl season, and the first month already looks like Warren Sharp's preseason 9.5-win, second-place AFC East forecast instead of a 14-win rerun. The Patriots scored 36 points through three games, got flattened 35-6 at Jacksonville, then Drake Maye and Josh McDaniels produced their best 2026 offensive night in a 29-26 road upset at Buffalo. Last year they scored 28.8 points per game (second) and allowed 18.8 (fourth), covering 13-4 and going 11-6 to the over. Sharp's preseason market snapshot had a -2.4 average line, -5.4 at home and 0.3 on the road, with New England favored in 10 games and an underdog in seven.

So much for the undefeated season.
We entered Week 4 with **Darius35 and eduardobass7 sitting at 3–0**.
We left Week 4 with **zero undefeated teams and five teams tied at 3–1**.
That's not a standings race.
That's a traffic jam.
And the way we got there was even better.

Buffalo is 3-1 after beating Houston 36-31, Detroit 41-31, and the Chargers 24-16, then losing 29-26 to New England on October 4. Last season they finished 12-5 with the fourth-ranked offense (28.3 PPG) and a 12th-ranked defense (21.5 allowed), covering at 14-3 even as the over went just 9-8. Warren Sharp's preseason forecast was 10.5 wins and first in the AFC East. His betting snapshot installed Buffalo as a favorite in 14 of 17 games, with a -3.5 average line that swings to -4.8 at home and -2.3 on the road, against the ninth-hardest schedule on his board.

Pittsburgh is 2-2 after consecutive three-point division games, winning against Cincinnati and losing 27-24 at Cleveland. They rallied from 21-7 down, tied it at 24 with 1:42 left, and Cleveland won on a 56-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining. Last season they finished 10-7, scoring 23.4 points per game (15th) and allowing 22.8 (17th), with an 8-9 mark against the spread and a 10-7 record to the over. Warren Sharp's preseason forecast was 8.5 wins and third in the AFC North against a schedule ranked 19th in difficulty (1 = easiest, 32 = hardest). His preseason betting snapshot installed the Steelers as 0.6-point underdogs on average, minus-0.9 at home and plus-1.9 on the road, favorites in seven games and underdogs in ten.

Three weeks in, and the league is already starting to develop a personality.
Darius35 keeps scoring like somebody forgot to tell him fantasy football is supposed to be difficult.
eduardobass7 keeps winning close games.
Bosscoe followed a 171.50-point eruption by falling below 100.
ALL BALLZ ITCH finally broke into the win column by taking down the team that entered the week as one of the league's biggest scorers.
And after starting 2–0, both horns75 and Goonies Never Say Punt finally discovered that the standings do, in fact, contain a loss column.
